This page is where I will archive all of my album pages and use them to create an all time music ranking. I will also choose songs from each album to make a playlist encompassing my musical life. Most albums I choose to post on here will probably be at least a "good" ranking, I have created a ranking for albums that I simply just can't get into/don't like that genre/whatever.

I suppose the best way to do this is when I am in the mood to write a post/have time, I will shuffle on my iTunes and write about each album that comes up, probably doing three at a time (unless really good ones come up that take a long time).

Ultimate Playlist/Ratings Criteria:
- each ranking will determine how many songs from that album go into the playlist. The criteria will pretty much be scaled for how many songs are on the album so the options below go to albums with the average 9-12 songs. I will try not to include many songs that are more than 10 minutes long but sometimes there are those epics that really deserve it. (i.e. "Shine on You Crazy Diamond")

***** (Yellow, All-time Hall of Fame BrainofCam Masterpiece, personal favorite/best ever album = rare, most of the songs on the album are personal favorites, the whole album is a great example of the genre and just comes together to form a wonderful experience, probably the albums with sentimental value to me, just has to have the extra "oomph" to get bumped up to this rating, I think it is clear by now) (As many playlist entries as needed)
***** (Non-Gold, Excellent album, may be personal favorite or not, probably has one (or more) of the all time great songs on it but the rest of the album might not match up, could be a "groundbreaking" album of it's genre)
**** (Great Album, would recommend it, better than average)
***   (Good Album, down the middle, worth listening to but might not do it for me personally)
** or lower= Don't like this album for whatever reason, I might not be into the genre, just can't get into the music.
X = the times you come across something that pretty much everyone says this album is earth shattering, groundbreaking, important, whatever but just don't get it. This is probably for albums that are recommended and it is of a genre that I really just don't enjoy in my brain. Prime example in my mind right now is "John Coltrane - Ascension."

Of course I will do my best to explain each rating in detail with each post but sometimes it is hard to do that. I will do my best to research the back story of each a bit and understand where the album came in time and why it mattered.
